By accessing or using the Buyer Buddy website or booking any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website or services.

Buyer Buddy provides pre-purchase vehicle inspection services. Our inspectors conduct on-site visual and mechanical assessments of used vehicles and deliver written digital reports based on their findings at the time of inspection. Our inspections are intended to provide buyers with a general assessment of a vehicle's condition. They are not a guarantee of future performance, reliability, or the absence of defects not observable at the time of inspection.

Our inspections are non-invasive and visual in nature unless otherwise stated. We do not disassemble components, perform destructive testing, or access areas that are not reasonably accessible during a standard inspection. Buyer Buddy is not responsible for: • Defects, failures, or issues that were not visible or detectable at the time of inspection • Latent or hidden defects beneath panels, under coatings, snow, ice, mud, or within sealed components • Issues that arise after the inspection is completed • The accuracy of information provided by the seller or third-party history reports Our reports reflect the condition of the vehicle at the specific date and time of inspection only.

Payment is due at the time of booking or as otherwise agreed. We accept major credit cards and other payment methods as listed on our booking page. Prices are subject to change without notice. The price confirmed at the time of booking will be honored for that inspection.

If you need to cancel or reschedule your inspection, please contact us as soon as possible. Cancellations made with reasonable advance notice may be eligible for a full or partial refund at our discretion. Cancellations made after an inspector has been dispatched or has arrived at the vehicle location may not be eligible for a refund.

By booking an inspection, you confirm that: • You have the legal right or permission to have the vehicle inspected • The vehicle will be accessible to our inspector at the agreed time and location • You will provide accurate vehicle and location information at the time of booking • You have made contact with the seller, verified authenticity of the item and confirmed the vehicle is able to be inspected to the extent of the package you have purchased. Buyer Buddy is not responsible for delays or failed inspections caused by inaccurate information, sellers who are not communicating or inaccessible vehicles.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Buyer Buddy and its inspectors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of our services or reliance on our inspection reports. Our total liability for any claim related to a specific inspection shall not exceed the amount paid for that inspection.

Our inspection reports are provided "as is" based on the inspector's professional observations at the time of inspection. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the completeness, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose of our reports. An inspection report is not a guarantee that the vehicle is free of defects or will perform reliably after purchase. We only Guarantee that you will be satisfied with the value of our service. The maximum refund for not reaching your total satisfaction is the original total of the inspection package less a $40 service fee. We do not offer refunds for any additional items purchased. Carfax or VinAudit.

All content on the Buyer Buddy website — including text, graphics, logos, and inspection report formats — is the property of Buyer Buddy and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without our written permission. Inspection reports delivered to clients are for personal use only and may not be resold or redistributed without consent.

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of Michigan.

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
